Lemon Heaven
West Portal is a small, eclectic area in San Francisco that consists of old-timey cinemas, bookstores, music stores, cafés, thrift shops, and some really great restaurants with cuisines from around the world. Yesterday, I ended up eating at a restaurant called
Lemonade which is located in West Portal, and from my understanding, it is pretty new to the area. It is a cute and casual little restaurant with outdoor seating. It has a cafeteria style set up, and everything is made-to-eat, so it is a great place to go for a quick, light, and healthy lunch. I ate a chicken mozzarella sandwich on a ciabatta roll, tortellini, and a mixed salad with a ginger lemonade as my drink. They have about 7 different flavors of lemonade ranging from mint, watermelon, ginger, and blood orange. Lemonade isn't pricey, but I would only go back again if I was in a rush and wanted a healthy meal, or solely for the lemonade, just because the food didn't have a whole lot of flavor, and I am not a huge fan of cafeteria-style restaurants.

Also in West Portal is a little supermarket that has a variety of health and European foods. It sits pretty close to a little flower shop which I also visited.
